3.WHAT KIND OF MEDIA INSTITUTION MIGHT DISTRIBUTE YOUR MEDIA PRODUCT AND WHY?
My production company would produce my film due to it fitting into many of the other films that it has produced itself. From films like Friday 13th to the Butterfly effect, producing and distributing our film 'Saving Grace' would definatley fit into many of the different genre films that New line produce and distribute. 'Saving Grace' suits New Line very well as New line as a company in its self represents many different films, and always with holds them as one of their creations. So with our company J.E.S production being in association with New line, New line opens up our film as a new type of thriller for many different people to love and enjoy. New line has successfully produced and distributed many different films an now 'Saving Grace' being it's new one in line would change the normal expected thriller into something new altogether.
With New Line now supporting us in our production and distribution. possibly within time and promotion many different companies like VUE, BLOCKBUSTER & CINEWORLD would all support in the distribution and put our film down as a trade mark of a new thriller film.

5.Social Network Response
I uploaded our group film onto a social network of 'Facebook' to see what the response would be from people. At the moment I have only just recently uploaded it, but got an immediate response which was positive, hopefully in time people can spare the time and look at it properly and maybe leave an opinion.
Even though it was a short opinion of someone saying they 'loved it' it was such a simple comment but meant quite a lot to my group and my self. It was much appreciated, and showed that we did a good job. It also interlinked with the audience group that we picked, even though our target was 15- 40, our main target was teenagers and young adults, and to get a response from a candidate that fittted into that audience criteria, was a great achievement.

6.WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNT ABOUT TECHNOLOGIES FROM THE PROCESS OF CONSTRUCTING THIS PRODUCT?
Through the process of construction taking my self away from my group and standing as an individual media student, even though at times I have faced challenges have been quite hard I was successfully able to over come mainly due to my new knowledge of how to use different technologies. By simply knowing the processes of new items I was able to mold my work into something new and unique that would be able to stand alone. At this stage in the year I am now able to use the different applications on an Apple Mac computer which I didn't really have any insight to due to it not being available to me a daily basis, alongside the factor of the Apple Mac it came with it's own unique applications like iMovie, which I had to learn how to use in the construction of my film making. As time went on with my group construction individual work had to play it's part also, so I had to teach my self how to do use simple things like print screening, which I don't hesitate to use now. The collaboration of me using an Apple Mac on a daily 5 day a week slot time it opened up my mind on how I would present my work in different technology forms to help improve my construction knowledge and my work altogether.
Leading on to the process of filming. I honestly learnt how to use a camera properly and was able to sync parts of my film on to the Apple Mac enabling my group to go through the stages of editing. With filming came the variety of apparatus that had to be used also, the most favourite one being a Tripod, learning how to put it at the right levels to film, and how to disemble it after use all came as a process of construction. There weren't many bases to my constructions but the ones that we did use were new pathways for me in the subkject of Media. This leads me to my final point of the classic website of 'YouTube'. I had used YouTube in the pass for various items like downloading music or watching a variety of videos from comedy acts to short films, but never before did I know how to record through the Apple Mac through the use of the webcam straight onto YouTube and being able to publish it, and then use the embed code to upload it onto my blog, all of this became a new way of technology to me and allowed me to learn as I picked up new tips from other media candidates.
As the year has gone by I had to take a big sacrafice and put time aside to learn the different pointers that I am contently left with now that I can use in the future. The construction was quite a complex one for me compared to others due to my lack of knowledge, and even though I am quite up to date with different technologies, the collaborations of all of this set my knowledge and understanding on a whole complete level, and I am glad that I can continue to use it in the future.

7.LOOOKING BACK ON YOUR PRELIMARY TASK WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU HAVE LEARNT IN THE PROGRESSION FROM IT TO THE FULL PRODUCT?
In general from the beginning of the final film, when planning with my group the first decision was to make sure we didn't repeat the same mistakes make from the preliminary task. The preliminary task it's self opened up each of our eyes into the lack of time you have, but the amount of effort and organisation that you have to put into every part of your work.. Each bases of your construction counts and this was all shown through parts of our preliminary task, parts of our preliminary task suffered due to the lack of commitment that we had and the slow bases of communication skills, and this was all conveyed in the preliminary task when we had to hand over our final piece which wasn't at all to our satisfaction. The great lack of satisfaction did effect as a group, so making the decision to go back into the same group again for a final marked piece was a big risk, but due to the past experiences that we had all felt together we agreed to redeem ourselves and always use the key words of 'team work'.
We did at first go back to our usual lazy habits, and presuming that we had time to spare, but recognising where we went from the preliminary task we had to work together in transforming each other into the simple but complication process of breaking out of individual habits. This was a struggle at the start, but we all knew that we had to work together if we wanted to achieve our aim, that was exactly the same between the two of us. The preliminary task was a simple but effective reminder in how time can capture you and change your work into something that is not a true reflection of your group, so the construction of the film was done in a professional way of making time tables, following one another on our blogs, making sure we could communicate with one another in more than one way, from social networking to mobile phones, and all of these things which weren't hard added to a strict organisation form which we ended up conforming too and getting use too.
Referring mainly back to the question. In this final evaluation process I can say I have personally learnt how to cope with different people's learning skills and how people cope with different work loads, and how you can all help one another with your strengths and weaknesses, and with this all collaborate successfully , if done right come your final piece of work as a group will be too a high standard, which at this time in speaking I can say my group and I proudly did. The preliminary task and obviously team work all worked in hand showing us and setting up my group for the right direction to succeed.

Audience Response
Another audience response from a yr 13 who is not a media student, so it was good to get a variety of feed back.

Film Comparison.
Looking at some of the still shots cropped from my film which has now been published onto YouTube. When going back into the first stages of my research and going into depth of the opening film evaluations that I did to get an idea of how I would approach mine, as a group we did take some of the ideas from other films as a source of inspiration. For example the film Misery we took the idea of the unique titling which we thought was a good idea as it tells the audience what type of genre the film is but doesn't escape the whole meaning through it's titling credits, even though they are all in red.

Preliminary task evaluation.
PRELIMINARY EVALUATION SHEET
Quality of Summary | My honest evaluation- what was done well and what was not of good standard? Try to cite specific example and moments from your video | Strategies put forward to make sure a high quality is maintained. |
Quality of holding a shot steady | Many of the shots were held accurately especially when one of the characters were walking, however the match cut was sometimes not held to perfection. | This could have been improved through the strategy of using a tripod or possibly the person sitting down and possibly feeling more comfortable with the surroundings when filming. |
Quality of the framing shots | For the task we only used a few camera shots from a match cut to a long shot to a mid shot. They worked really well in the production of our task. | In the future if we had to go back to film and improve the task I would possibly use items like extreme close-up to portray more of the emotions of the actors used possibly resulting in the audience being drawn in more to the scenario. |
Quality of shooting material appropriate to the task set- i.e. the content of your film pre and post editing was consistent with the exam directives | In some ways we did change our ideas of planning throughout the process of the task, due to the group having a set of different opinions. | The process of organization would of helped us in the factor of wasting less time, and planning would of enabled us to have more flow to our task. |
Quality of selecting mise-en-scène including colour, figure, lighting, objects and setting; | The use of mise – en – scene in terms of criticisms was quite basic also relating back to us not having enough time we used the mise en scene of a table and chairs to show a setting of a social meeting. | We could of used different strategies of mise en scene to create a more calmer and smooth environment relating to a social meeting. At times it was slightly more serious then relaxed. |
Quality of editing so that meaning is apparent to the viewer | We added our own special parts of editing to our task even though we didn’t have to. The editing was sharp and precisely done and took the shortest amount of time. | The editing was good yes, but the use of setting could of worked more in collaboration to help achieve a much more stricter form of editing. |
Quality of using sound with images and editing appropriately for the task set; | The dialogue between the characters was in sync at all times and had a god flow to it. The sound was useful to the task. | We could of used more sound to portray and relate back to the scenario. Possibly having background noise to convey a social setting. |
Quality of positioning and movements of actors | The quality of positioning and the movements of the actors was almost all on-point. | To improve it we could of used a variety of shots and made sure the actors knew their positions on a more accurate basis. |
Quality of group planning, meeting targets, organization | The organization of our group was good at times but we struggled in certain areas. | To improve our organization as a group we need to have more discussion time and have a set plan set out in order to produce strong work in the time given. |
Group dynamics i.e. how did your group work together | We worked together really well, and the dynamics of the group were good, however we all lacked concentration in certain areas. | To improve the dynamics of the group I think that we all had to work in sync with each other more than we are already, and the strict form of concentration has to improve. |
Other points of evaluation ( e.g. equipment related etc) | Over all even though we had a short amount of time we were still able to produce an effective piece of work to put towards our course work points. | I think just simple items could of improved our work even more, things like commitment and organization were the two main things I think we needed in order for us to produce an even stronger piece of work. The preliminary task taught us how quickly time can run away so we have to use if effectively. |
